    “Hillestad an sich ist kein Ort, sondern besteht nur aus ein paar Häusern/Farmen, einer Kirche und einer Galerie. Infrastruktur gibt es deshalb so gut wie keine im ganzen Tovdal (außer einem kleinen Lebensmittelladen). Für Leute, die Unterhaltung suchen, ist es definitiv der falsche Ort. Für Naturliebhaber allerdings top, div. Wandermöglichkeiten ab Hillestadheia (Lindeknuten, Storliheia, Gussteinheia etc.) oder auch im Tal. Die Feriensiedlung Hillestadheia selber besteht aus ca. 30 wunderschönen Ferienhäusern, jedes auf einem großen Naturgrundstück, so dass die anderen Häuser überhaupt nicht stören.”
