This holiday apartment is completely newly built and is in the main house on a small farm, the Gschliererhof, in the mountains of South Tyrol. It is surrounded by meadows and forest in a very quiet location amidst a beautiful landscape in Maria Saalen, at the entrance to the Gader Valley. The farm is far away from traffic and hecticness, ensuring peace and quiet.
Right by the house there is a terrace with a big table, where you can enjoy dining in the evenings. All around the house you can find space for relaxing. Deckchairs are provided. By the courtyard there are a sandpit, a swing, a slide and a seesaw, as well as many animals that children will enjoy.
This new holiday apartment was built almost exclusively with renewable materials. The walls consist of wood and exude a pleasant atmosphere. The insulation consists of wooden fibres and the heating and electricity are completely regenerative. At the same time, the apartment provides all the necessary comfort you could wish for: underfloor heating, a floor-level shower, electronic shutters and plenty of space for you and your family. The apartment has a very spacious living and dining room with a balcony, where you can enjoy the evenings on beautiful sunny days. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, tableware, pans and everything else you need for cooking and eating. The bedroom features light arolla pine wood and provides a double bed. It is possible to add a junior bed or cot to the room. The second bedroom, which also has a balcony, is for two people, with either two single beds or joined together as a double bed. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, washbasin. The bathroom, the entrance area and the kitchen have underfloor heating. In order to wash your clothes, you can use the washing machine with a tumble dryer in a separate laundry. The double beds measure 180 x 200cm and the two single beds each measure 90 x 200cm. Wireless Internet access is available on request. The apartment is centrally heated with underfloor heating, which is fired by solar energy and wood.
In the surroundings, the Dolomites and the Puster Valley provide one of the most beautiful backdrops you could wish for on your holiday. Apart from the world-famous “Drei Zinnen”, you can enjoy thousands of other landscape highlights. Some walks start right from the holiday house. It is not only the beauty of the landscape that provides many interesting highlights, but also the history and culture of the region. “Ötzi”, the 5000-year-old man preserved in ice, many castles and fortifications, as well as the Roman settlement of “Sebatum” and other museums provide everything that culture enthusiasts will appreciate.
