Holiday apartments in a stone house, near Majella National Park

The inviting holiday apartments are in a stone house that was restored in 2007 and is located in the characteristic town of Roccamontepiano in Chieti province, at the foot of Majella National Park, in the central San Rocco district.



The holiday apartments are connected with each other, but can also be completely separate and independent if required. They are ideal for families who like spending a holiday with friends, whilst still retaining their own privacy. Two apartments are on the ground floor and one is on the first floor. There is free wireless and DSL Internet access throughout the house.



The house is surrounded by a garden. It has a big parking area for cars, campervans and buses. You can also hire bicycles.



The running of this holiday establishment has been certified by the Italian Coeliac Society and is therefore to be recommended to those to whom this applies. The breakfast is included in the rental price and can be served at an agreed time, or else made by the guests themselves. Lunch and dinner, including gluten-free dishes, are prepared in an annex and are to be booked in advance. The prices vary according to the chosen menu. Every morning a breakfast, based on croissants, handmade cakes, fresh fruit and much more is served. At request, it is possible to choose a hearty breakfast.



The holiday apartments are in a very pretty locality that attracts tourists throughout the year. The beaches at Francavilla, Ortona and Pescara are about 20km away, the mountains are 15km away, and Chieti is 20km away, providing a wide range of leisure activities. Majella National Park, Gran Sasso National Park and the Monti della Laga are all nearby. In order to enjoy their nature, there are picnic areas and viewing points. One should visit the Volto Santo pilgrimage site and the relics of San Camillo De Lellis. Over the course of the year several folk festivals are held. There are various restaurants in the vicinity offering regional Abruzzo cuisine. The holiday apartments are very close to the Majella-Passo Lanciano skiing pistes. As the apartments are in the centre, there are shops and services in the immediate vicinity.

The living room-kitchen provides a fireplace, a big dining table, a gas stove, an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment. The spacious bathroom has a shower, bidet and hairdryer. The apartment has a washing machine and heating.
