Nice 2 room apartment (46 m2) and a sunny balcony in a single family house built in 2007. The holiday apartment exudes a feel-good ambience in a very quiet location in the beautiful village of Zernez at the foot of the Swiss National Park. It is important to us that you feel at home in the apartment, which was built in the Engadine stone pine style. From the balcony you have a wonderful view towards the Upper Engadine and the local mountain Piz Bellavista. In summer you can enjoy nature with numerous sporting activities or just relax. The apartment offers many possibilities as a starting point. In winter, the cross-country ski runs are right outside the front door. Within walking distance you will find the bus or train station as well as various shops and the village library. The apartment offers free internet access as well as a ski, wax and bike room.

Location description: Zernez and Brail - The gateways to the Swiss National ParkThese resorts are the gateway to the Swiss National Park (summer) and the ideal base for exploring the fascinating region of Switzerland bordering Italy and Austria. Summer: The undisputed top attraction here is Switzerland’s only national park, whose 170.3 square kilometres harbour an exceptional wealth of alpine animal and plant life in a wild and untouched mountain landscape. It is the country’s largest natural reserve – and its' most spectacular. As well as being the gateway to the national park, these attractive Engadin villages are home to its visitor center, open year round. Zernez also offers an excellent range of tourist facilities, including the relaxing and fun-filled family/wellness pool, mini-golf, and a new playground.Stretching out from the resort is a fabulous network of footpaths and bike trails; active visitors can also tackle the three Nordic Walking trails, and the “Vita-Parcours” exercise trail in the forest. In Brail you find as well hiking trails to upper and lower Engadin, around the village and a boccia track by the hotel Post.Winter: The attractive Engadin villages also make a peaceful base for exploring the region’s various large ski areas, while from the doorstep a network of cross-country ski trails leads into the expansive valley of the Upper Engadin, down into the wild and romantic Lower Engadin and around Zernez itself. Anyone seeking a very special experience of nature can book a guided snowshoe tour – for example up at the Ofen Pass. Livelier thrills, meanwhile, are on offer on the Munt Baselgia toboggan run, the artificial ice rink and the wonderful natural ice rink.The free ice stick fun on the natural ice rink in Brail thrills as well.
