This tastefully furnished vacation apartment for 2 people is located just a few steps away from Plötzensee and just under 500 m from Plauer See, in a quiet residential area just outside the town, on the top floor of the owner's house on a plot of approx. 2,900 m². Restaurants can be found in the neighborhood, the city center with shopping facilities is about 2.5 km away.
The 50 m² non-smoking apartment, which was completely renovated in 2021, is centrally heated and equipped with insect screens, is accessible via a separate external spiral staircase and is spread over three levels. On the first is the hallway with a closet and plenty of storage space, on the second is the large living room (sofa bed, desk, flat-screen TV, radio) with an open, modern kitchen (dining area, electric stove with oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, various small kitchen appliances) and a spacious bathroom (shower, WC, electric towel warmer, hairdryer) and on the third (accessible via stairs) is the open sleeping area (two mattresses).
In addition, there is an approx. 30 m² furnished roof terrace with lake view, a gas barbecue, parking space, bicycle storage and a private jetty on the Plötzensee (bathing opportunity for swimmers). WLAN is also available. The total price includes final cleaning, water and energy consumption as well as bed linen and towels (initial supply). To be paid on site: Tourist tax. Pets are not allowed in this property.
The climatic health resort of Plau am See, the "gateway" to the Mecklenburg Lake District, has a long tradition as a resort. At 38.4 km², the lake of the same name is the third largest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and offers the best conditions for water sports enthusiasts and amateur anglers. The hilly surrounding countryside with forests and other small and large lakes offers many other excursion options on foot or by bike. The Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide Nature Park begins on the northern shore of Lake Plau, about which detailed information is provided in the "Karower Meiler", and the "Moorochse" observation tower directly on the lake is a popular excursion destination. In Plau itself there are several bathing beaches, boat and bike hire, diving and sailing schools, a climbing park, passenger boat trips and fishing. The picturesque old town, which is still characterized by the half-timbered and brick houses of the farming community, invites you to stroll around with its numerous restaurants, cafés and shopping opportunities. In addition to the lift bridge, the castle tower with ramparts, the Protestant town church "St. Marien" from the 13th century and the Plauer town hall in the Dutch Renaissance style are outstanding contemporary witnesses. The latest highlight is the observation tower directly at the junction of the Müritz-Elde waterway and Lake Plau.
