Quietly yet centrally located in the center of Friedrichroda, there are two vacation apartments for up to 3 people each on the owner's approx. 560 square meter, fully fenced residential property. Shopping facilities, a restaurant, a bakery and the tourist information office can be found in the immediate vicinity, the train station is approx. 800 m away, the outdoor pool approx. 1.5 km, several idyllic lakes for swimming and hiking are approx. 2.5 km away and the ski lift approx. 6 km away.

The two comfortably furnished non-smoking apartments are centrally heated and have separate entrances. This small apartment has a furnished sitting area in front of the door and is located on the first floor of an outbuilding, the large apartment DZV441 with balcony is located on the upper floor of the owner's house.

The approx. 35 m² apartment has a combined living room/bedroom (double bed, upholstered couch, sitting area with armchair, flat-screen TV), a separate kitchen (dining table, electric hob, fridge with freezer, microwave, various small kitchen appliances, radio/CD player), a bathroom (shower, WC), a small hallway and an outdoor sitting area.
Parking spaces, garden furniture, a barbecue and a washing machine (for a fee) are available for both apartments. The total price includes final cleaning, bed linen, towels, water and energy costs. To be paid on site: Visitor's tax, washing machine (if applicable 2 EUR/wash).

Friedrichroda is a small town near Gotha, Erfurt or Eisenach in the middle of the Thuringian Forest. The recognized climatic health resort with its forest and nature-rich surroundings is very suitable for an active vacation. In addition to hiking over 100 kilometers of terrain trails around Friedrichroda, you can also play tennis, go cycling, horse riding, rowing or swimming in the local outdoor and indoor pools. Germany's longest high-altitude hiking trail, the famous "Rennsteig", is only about 3.5 km away and there are also four Kneipp pools and a Kneipp herb garden in Friedrichroda. Nearby attractions include Reinhardsbrunn Castle with its park and three nearby idyllic lakes, as well as the Marienglashöhle cave with one of the largest gypsum crystal grottos in Europe. There is a train station in the town and the highway is around 5 km away.
