Der Ort Karlshagen dieses herrlichen Fleckens auf Usedom liegt an einer schmalen Landenge. Der Strand an der offenen Ostsee und und der kleine Jachthafen am Peenestrom sind nicht viel mehr als 2 Kilometer voneinander entfernt. Den anderswo so selten gewordenen Seeadler können sie auf der Insel Usedom noch sehr häufig beobachten.

Die reizvolle Umgebung zwischen Ostsee, Peenestrom und Achterwasser ist geprägt vom feinsandigen Strand, Ackerflächen, Wiesen und Kieferwäldern, sowie ungewöhnlichem Wild- und Fischreichtum.

Die Insel Usedom verfügt über hervorragende Fischgründe sowie über idyllische Naturlandschaften, die sich zum entspannten Angeln eignen.
