This beautiful rural palazzo was built in 1812 and is located in the small Istrian village Krnica. The building was built in the form of a baroque palace. In 2018 it was renovated and offers all the amenities you could wish for but has lost none of its historic charm.

To enter this wonderful building, go through the monumental courtyard gate ("portun") made of profiled stone and wrought iron, above which the name of the founder was carved. On the ground floor of the house, following the example of the two-story baroque palace, there is the living room, which consists of a large dining room and the modernly furnished kitchen and the beautiful country-style living room with the large fireplace, which dates back to the construction period. On the second floor there are two modern furnished bedrooms with air conditioning and each with its own bathroom. On the second floor there is the large master bedroom with private bathroom and a large living room where you can relax, listen to music, paint, watch TV and play Playstation. On the top floor there is a beautiful bedroom with a 3.5m high ceiling made of wooden beams, with private bathroom and a room for meditation and relaxation.

Outside is also the terrace covered by vines and another single terrace with barbecue and large space for sitting and eating, where lemon, lavender and jasmine scents provide a wonderful aroma.

This building offers is a small oasis of peace surrounded by an Istrian stone wall. Here you can watch the blue Istrian sky and its shimmering stars in peace and enjoy Istrian wines. A large recreation room offers guests the opportunity for leisure activities such as table tennis and space for playing cards.

Near the house there is an Istrian restaurant, a cafe and pizzeria, a grocery store, a post office, the main church of the village and two smaller churches.

Rock and pebble beaches and a fish restaurant, where you can enjoy fish specialties, are two kilometers from house. Here you will find many bike paths and nearby is a ranch with horses, which offers horseback riding.

Krnica is a quiet place surrounded by beautiful olive groves and has a good position for trips to Pula, Rovinj, Poreö, Koper, Opatija, Rijeka and Venice. The highest mountain in Istria Uöka and Central Istria are also worth a visit, as you can relax and rest there nicely.
