In the middle of the forests of the Waldviertel in the village Schönbach you have here a spacious vacation apartment with tiled stove in a newly adapted vacation home in a quiet location in rural surroundings. The apartment is accessible via an outside staircase with a separate entrance. The friendly and brightly furnished rooms will delight you, as will the beautiful tiled stove, where you can spend many a cozy hour. In summer, there are numerous recreational opportunities in the surrounding area. In the surrounding area there are several swimming ponds, but also horseback riding, cycling and hiking is announced here. Of course, those interested in culture will not miss out. Worthwhile excursion destinations are the monasteries of Zwettl and Melk, Ottenschlag Castle, Rappottenstein Castle or the Lohnbach Falls. In winter, the region is ideal for cross-country skiers. Other activities are ice skating, tobogganing, sledding, winter hiking. A few minutes away from the house is the farm of the owner family, where you can get fresh milk and eggs.
