Luxury historical villa with pool on the Costa Brava

The villa is originally a barn dating from 1903, which has been converted into a residential house using modern architectural criteria. The historical context was respected and the original construction form was retained. The interiors are characterized by contemporary comfort, serenity and spaciousness, and are tastefully and carefully furnished.

The house is beautifully positioned overlooking its vast garden and the landscape behind it: the fields of corn, rice and sunflowers, the poplar woods and the Montgri mountains with its imposing castle. The garden of about 1000 m2 offers enough space for relaxing moments with a pleasant swimming pool (6,7 x 5,5 m), two covered terraces, barbecue, wide lawns, a small organic garden, herbs and trees.

The villa is situated on the edge of a picturesque small and quiet hamlet, Fontclara, in the heart of the Empordà, with its medieval stone villages such as Peratallada, Pals, Palau Sator or Ullastret.
The particular charm of this rural atmosphere is its proximity to the sea: at a distance of 10 minutes, the landscape transforms into the beaches, coves and whitewashed fishing villages of the Costa Brava, close to Pals or Begur.
The area is perfect for an individual couple or family holiday, with a wide range of activities (walking or cycling, water sports, golf, cultural visits and activities...) and, of course, an enticing gastronomic offer.
If you are looking for a breath of city air, a trip to the nearby provincial capital of Girona, with its majestic cathedral, the intricate Jewish quarter and lively business life, is well worthwhile.

    “Unglaublich schönes Feriendomizil. Man hat seine Ruhe und ist dennoch sehr schnell in allen tollen Gebieten die die Costa Brava so zu bieten hat! Positiv: Haus, Garten, Lage und die Kommunikation zwischen Vermieter. Negativ: Nichts zu bemängeln Beste Reisezeit: Wir waren im Herbst und hatten super Wetter. Selbst nachts im Pool schwimmen war möglich. Die anderen Jahreszeiten kenne ich "noch" nicht. Umgebung: Supermarket - Es gibt viel Auswahl an Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Gegend. Selbst einen Lidl ( für manche wichtig, für uns aber nicht ) gibt es im Nachbarort von Torroella. Empfehlung: Families, couples - Hier kann sich jeder wohl fühlen Ausflüge: Die Ruinen von Empúrias - Griechische und Römische Runinen. Muss man gesehen haben. Strand danach zu Fuß in 2min. erreichbar.”

    “Sehr schöner Urlaub, wenn man die absolute Ruhe im Urlaub bevorzugt. Positiv: Der Garten und das Umfeld, besonders geeignet für Urlauber mit Hund. Negativ: Die Entfernung zum Meer.”
