Cocoon Villa Lamai in Koh Samui

Wake up in a private mountain setting and watch the sun rising with an unspoiled, almost 180-degree breathtaking sea view. Located in the hills south of Lamai, within one of the most sought-after residential areas in a quiet neighborhood, this 150 sqm villa is a haven of tranquility, yet only a few minutes away from Samui's second-largest vibrant town and various beaches. The transfer from the airport takes approximately 25 minutes.



Embracing minimalism to the fullest, the villa will captivate you with its modern, stylish decor for an unforgettable stay. The villa has one bedroom with air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful bathroom, and a cozy living room. All rooms are equipped with exquisite teak wood furniture and meet the highest comfort standards: High-speed internet (fiber-optic), air conditioning, fans, a washing machine, as well as a kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, etc., 



The villa boasts a vast and stunning tropical garden (1440 sqm), featuring a private waterfall at the yard's bottom. Alongside a balcony (in the bedroom) and a spacious garden terrace, the villa also includes an outdoor pavilion, a rooftop terrace with panoramic views and parking space for 2 cars.



Built and designed in 2018 with sensitivity to the local context, combined with the form-making principles of modernism, the villa is the ideal retreat for couples, nature and yoga enthusiasts, solo adventurers, business travelers, or long-term tourists. The villa is not suitable for physically challenged individuals. Due to its hillside location, private transportation is recommended. Please note that the road to the villa has a steep gradient in the last 200 meters.



Lamai Beach is Koh Samui’s second biggest beach after Chaweng and about 10 kilometers further south. The beach stretches out over 5 kilometers of golden sand all along the east coast in breathtaking scenery. The vibe in Lamai is much more laid-back and less upmarket than Chaweng, but still offers lively nightlife and an array of activities such as diving, sailing, tennis, hiking, Thai boxing, and much more. You will find most of the restaurants, bars, live music venues, beach clubs, coffee shops, and shopping on the Lamai Beach Road. In the streets of Lamai, you can still experience everyday Thai life and culture and explore the local markets such as the Lamai Night Market or the Lamai Food Market with an incredible selection of traditional or regional Thai food and street food. South of Lamai, you find the fishing village Hua Thanon. The main traditional fishing fleet is based here, where nothing much has changed over time or been affected by tourism. Daily life continues pretty much as it has done for hundreds of years, and you can explore the local culture and visit one of Samui's largest fish markets.
