    “Gryon (Barboleusaz) eignet sich sowohl sehr gut für Ausflüge in die Berge als auch an den Genfer See, denn mit der Kleinbahn erreicht man in 35 Minuten die Haupteisenbahnstreckke bei Bex., oder in 1 Stunde per Bus das Gebiet von Les Diablerets (3100 m). Von Bex sind es nur 15 Minuten bis nach Montreux. Von dort stehen umfangreiche Bahn- oder Schiffsverbindungen um den Genfer See zur Verfügung. Vor Ort sind Ausflüge in die Berge möglich.
    Bäckerei und kleiner Supermarkt ermöglichen frischen Einkauf. In Verbindung mit einem Swisspass ist von hier aus ein abwechslungsreicher, autofreier Urlaub möglich, denn bei schlechtem Bergwetter (Wolken/Regen) kann man leicht an den See ausweichen.”

    “Wir selber haben Villar-Gryon nicht so sehr genutzt. Gryon: kleines Bergdorf, Villar: mehr Möglichkeiten für Grundversorgung etc. Insgesamt ein guter Ort auch für Wanderungen, allerdings kostet die einzig brauchbare Wanderkarte 29,80 FR.”

    “Nichts los dort! Ideal für jemanden, der Ruhe sucht! Obendrein wichtig: nach einem kurzen Fußweg ist man an der Haltestelle der Bergbahn und kann so recht schnell und unkompliziert sowohl die kleineren Orte inder Umgebung als auch Lausanne, Montreux oder sogar Genf erreichen.
