In Tejeda, center and summit of Gran Canaria." Located in the historic center (small village of 400 inhabitants) at 50m. of the church, peace and quiet and beautiful landscape. This old building, renovated and refurbished, has retained its original style and traditional furniture restored. It is an independent part of a Canarian house in the roles played by agriculture and housing deposit of almonds.

The house is set in two height levels: First level: entrance hall, a full bedroom (two single beds with crib, has heating), bathroom (with shower); Second level, down the stairs: The living room (tv flat, board games, books and information about tours and activities on the environment, has mountain views and has heating), a second full bedroom (three single beds, has views of the mountains and has heating). It also has a fully equipped kitchen (gas cooker with oven, microwave, coffee maker, etc. ..), with access to the porch and terrace (with garden furniture with parasol, from which to contemplate the surrounding mountains), a laundry room (washer and dryer) and a solarium. FREE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET, HEATING BY HEAT PUMP, MUNICIPAL POOL, OPEN IN SUMMER AT 50 METERS FROM THE HOUSE. RELAX AND TRANQUILITY.

Culture and art are present in Tejeda as a complementary option for tourism and leisure. Thus, visitors can go to Abraham Cárdenes Sculpture Museum (100 meters) where you can admire part of the work of this sculptor canary major, originally from Tejeda and lover of his land. Tejeda also has the Ethnographic Museum (200 meters), which allows visitors to tour the island's history and the municipality. Furthermore, the municipality has a Center of Medicinal Plants (300 meters), which invites visitors to discover the varieties of plants, herbs and flowers typical of Tejeda and the island, and the various uses in medicine, religion , cosmetics.

Tejeda is a must for those wishing to explore the rich archaeological heritage of the island. There you can find archaeological remains such as burial caves, engravings, paintings and houses.     “Zentral gelegene Wohnung am Hang mit schönem Blick ins Tal, eingerichtet mit dem Charme gediegenen Wohlstands auf dem Land, sehr sauber gehalten und - trotz der zentralen Lage - ruhig. Letzteres gilt jedenfalls für die Jahreszeit Anfang März.”

    “Das restaurierte alte Haus liegt zentral in verkehrsberuhigter Lage. Ein großer Parkplatz befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Haus ist sauber, alle benötigten Dinge des Alltags sind vorhanden. Die Küche ist als separater Raum außerhalb der Wohnräume angelegt - was aber nicht stört. Der zweite Schlafraum im Obergeschoss ist nicht vollständig vom Flur abgetrennt. Die Decke des Badezimmers ist niedrig (ca. 2 m). Die Dusche empfanden wir als sehr eng. Für die kühlen Wintertage gibt es eine Elektroheizung in den Wohn- und Schlafräumen, Decken sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Haus hat eine große Terrasse, die im Winter (Mitte Dezember) leider im Schatten liegt. Aber eine Treppe tiefer gibt es noch einen schönen kleinen Sitzplatz, der zumindest nachmittags in der Sonne liegt. Die Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos. Spanischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil, um sich verständigen zu können. Sofern man keinen Luxus erwartet, kann man in diesem Haus gut seinen Urlaub verbringen. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.”

    “Schönes, traditionell eingerichtetes Haus, sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Merke: Es gibt eine Heizung, aber im Winter kann es frisch werden. Die Terrasse geht nach Norden, also schattig mit sehr schöner Aussicht.”
